Boston braces for a blizzard

Workers at Bell’s Cash Market in South Boston stocked milk Thursday for customers picking up storm provisions.

The predicted 2 to 3 feet of snow will be lashed by winds gusting up to 65 miles per hour into drifts as deep as 5 feet, the National Weather Service said.

Many residents remained nonplussed as a blizzard homed in on the Bay State.
