The long-ago tragedy that Boston forgot

One hundred years ago, the city witnessed a horrific trolley accident that killed 46 people. Although it was dubbed the ?worst tragedy in the history of the city? at the time, it has now been all but forgotten.

The trolley car was lifted out of the channel at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 8, about 10 hours after the crash.
