Fotios ?Freddy? Geas, a West Springfield Mafia hit man, is serving a life sentence for a 2003 murder. Bulger was killed Tuesday hours after arriving at a federal prison in West Virginia.
?Freddy? Geas was almost certainly aware ? it?s universal knowledge among criminals by now ? of the fact that Bulger long led a charmed life as an FBI informant.
For families of Bulger?s victims, there was a mix of grim satisfaction, disgust, and long-suffering resignation.
The parade will depart Fenway Park at 11 a.m. and weave its way through the Back Bay and downtown.
