Road salt ?rather ineffective? for morning commute due to bitter cold

The Thursday morning commute will be slippery, according to the National Weather Service, because the cold will keep traditional road salt from melting snow leftover from last night.

Massachusetts is about to get a taste of the apocalyptic cold that?s been crippling the Midwest.
