Boston police officer violated state’s conflict of interest law, panel says

The commission found reasonable cause to believe that Officer James Clark, who has been on the force for more than 25 years, had violated the state conflict of interest law, and Clark waived his right to a hearing and agreed to the issuance of the letter, according to a statement from the commission.
