Lexington police shoot, kill man armed with knife, DA says

A Lexington police officer shot and killed a 35-year-old man armed with a knife early Saturday afternoon. The man, who was not identified, was killed in the street outside a residential facility at 98 Hancock St., where he was had been staying, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan.
