‘I might not ride for a while:’ Sparks, smoke, explosions cause Green Line riders to flee MBTA Park Street station
The sparks and explosions were due to an electrical wire falling on the tracks at Park Street, according to MBTA spokesperson Joe Pesaturo. Repairs were completed and train service resumed in the evening.
