Nelson Mandela, anti-apartheid leader, dies at 95

Former South African President Nelson Mandela has died at the age of 95.

Mandela, one of the heroic figures of the 20th century whose struggle against apartheid led to his imprisonment for 27 years, and who later received the Nobel Peace Prize, has died.
